Of the 201 colleges rated among the globe's top healthcare educational organizations in 2014, almost a quarter (48) are in the US, 25 in the UK, 19 in Malaysia, 11 in North america, 10 in Japan and 9 in Australia. A complete of 32 nations feature in the position, though just 13 nations have a med school rated within the worldwide top 50; the nations already mentioned are signed up with at this level by Denmark, Hong Kong, the Holland, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland and Taiwan.

The top healthcare educational organizations in North america are all centered at major colleges, corresponding broadly to the overall position of the nation's best colleges, with the University of Toronto, McGill University and the University of British Columbia (UBC) major the way. Canada colleges which position particularly well for medication compared to their overall worldwide position consist of McMaster University (50th for medicine; 140th overall) and the University of Calgary (top 100 for medicine; 201st overall).

Beyond the US and the UK, Malaysia features more of the globe's major healthcare divisions than any other country; a complete of 19 German organizations are rated in the worldwide top 200 for medication. Of these, the highest records are Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, rated 31st and 44= respectively.Other major healthcare educational organizations in Europe consist of Sweden’s renowned Karolinska Institute (ranked 16th on the globe for medicine), Denmark’s University of Copenhagen (34th) and Switzerland’s University of Zurich (41st). Medicine is a particularly powerful sector for Australia higher education, with many of the nation's major colleges boasting a stronger position for medication than in the overall QS Globe University Rankings®. The nation's highest rated university overall, Australia Nationwide University, comes slightly lower down – but still claims a place among the globe's 100 major healthcare divisions.

Asian nations also have a very powerful existence in the position of the globe's top healthcare educational organizations, and particularly Japan.
